Kathe Anderson bought a new home from KB Homes, but shortly after moving in she began having chronic respiratory problems. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors examined the house and found moisture had collected and become a bad mold problem--so bad that the house should be torn down and rebuilt. But KB refused to fix the problem properly—instead, they told her to shower less, and leave the windows open, even during the winter.
